Grants & Funding Support (ReDi Grants)

The Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) was created in 1995 to support efforts by the people of the Basin to create a legacy of social, economic and environmental well-being in the Canadian portion of the Columbia River Basin - the region most affected by the Columbia River Treaty. Funding available for community projects through ReDi is a part of this. ReDi grant funding is allocated annually through a per capita formula to Local Government partners, including the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK). The RDCK is contracted by the CBT to administer ReDi proposals for the whole Central Kootenay region.
