FireSmart is an awareness program that provides communities and individual homeowners with simple steps to reduce the impact of wildfires before they occur. To help our residents achieve these goals, Nelson Fire and Rescue Services now offers free FireSmart Home/Property Visits for property assessment and risk evaluation of the exterior of your home. We will come to your home, for FREE, to help you assess your property and provide a personalized FireSmart home risk evaluation.
